What you will do

• Support avionics integration for B-2 aircraft, including tactical data links, position location, display, digital interphone, and identification systems.
• Define, analyze, integrate, verify, and test aircraft information management, platform software, mission planning, and CNS/ATM requirements.
• Support airworthiness, interoperability, spectrum management, information security authorization, and operational safety certification activities.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, government organizations, prime contractors, subcontractors, and Air Force integration and testing organizations.
• Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings, working groups, ground and flight tests, hardware-in-the-loop activities, and subsystem integration labs.
• Investigate deficiencies, risks, architecture trade-offs, safety issues, and supportability problems, and develop corrective actions and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
• ABET-accredited Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or an ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
• Engineering candidates must hold an undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, such as electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
• Engineering technology degrees do not meet the stated engineering degree requirement.
• Apply avionics engineering, systems engineering, requirements analysis, integration, verification, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, and MBSE principles.
