Integration Specialist - Simulation - Security Clearance Eligibility Required

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States. Occasional short-term out-of-state and foreign travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead the integration of hardware and software subsystems into complete, high-fidelity simulation platforms.
• Configure servers, workstations, networking infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and simulation software environments.
• Integrate audiovisual, projection, motion, control, cockpit instrument, and peripheral systems.
• Perform system-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and requirements traceability validation.
• Develop integration plans, procedures, and verification test documentation; support acceptance testing and customer demonstrations.
• Provide technical oversight during installation and field deployment, mentor junior specialists and technicians, and contribute to risk assessments and project planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience developing, integrating, troubleshooting, testing, and debugging real-time simulation systems.
• Strong knowledge of avionics systems, aircraft operations, C++, C#, Python, Visual Studio, TCP/IP, VLANs, managed switches, firewalls, DIS, and HLA.
• Experience with Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, secure network configurations, and software configuration management.
• Ability to interpret schematics, system architecture diagrams, interface documentation, and engineering drawings.
• Must have an active Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain one, and must have or be able to obtain a U.S. passport.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating VR, AR, or MR technologies.
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine in simulation applications.
• CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in high-reliability or mission-critical environments.
