Mgr, Solutions Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: Madrid, Spain; the role manages the Solutions Engineering team across Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Malta.

Annual on-target earnings for the role in Italy: EUR 115,200–172,800, including base salary and eligibility for hirify.global’s commission plan with an 80:20 split.

What you will do

• Manage the regional Solutions Engineering team, including performance evaluations, work allocation, training, coaching, recruitment, and disciplinary processes.
• Define objectives, strategy, priorities, headcount plans, and organizational structures for the assigned team.
• Develop technical and professional capabilities, career planning, retention programs, and partner plans across professional services, support, marketing, and product functions.
• Maintain a customer-focused organization by driving product requirements, tracking market trends, supporting customer success, and managing escalations.
• Present hirify.global strategy, solution messaging, product roadmaps, and relevant solutions to customers and partners.
• Support sales through customer requirements analysis, product feasibility assessments, competitive analysis, and business strategy.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree, or relevant professional experience.
• Experience managing technical Solutions Engineers in a management role.
• Thorough understanding of networking technologies and application delivery.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to explain complex technologies and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
