Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada

Salary: USD 190,000–278,000 annual base salary for US-based roles; CAD 171,000–248,000 annual base salary for Canada-based roles

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction for the Credential Governance team and connect it to company objectives.
• Lead the development and operation of governance capabilities that provide visibility and accountability for company-owned credentials.
• Partner with senior engineers and technical leaders to shape the team’s technical vision.
• Work with product, design, and cross-functional partners to define customer solutions and guide delivery.
• Balance product-market-fit experiments with durable, maintainable software investments.
• Coach, mentor, recruit, and retain engineers while providing technical leadership across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Several years of experience managing engineers and leading the development and operation of a production service.
• Working knowledge of web development and backend technologies, with the ability to engage in complex technical discussions.
• Experience leading project delivery, maintaining roadmaps, and connecting near-term execution with longer-term goals.
• Experience growing teams and operating services as their scope and complexity increase.
• Experience managing a remote or distributed team.
• Sound judgment in using AI tools while maintaining a high quality and security bar.
