Mechanical Superintendent (Industrial Construction)

Location: Great Falls, Montana / Thompson Falls, Montana, United States. The role requires travel at least 75% of the time and field work in industrial, manufacturing, pipeline, refining, power, mining, and other construction environments.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule industrial mechanical construction projects valued up to $10 million.
• Review schedules with superintendents and foremen to keep critical activities and decisions on track.
• Oversee field activities from project setup through closeout.
• Supervise employees and coordinate craft supervision and subcontractors.
• Document and respond to field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule.
• Verify finished work complies with contract requirements, safety regulations, PPE requirements, and EH&S policies.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in industrial and commercial construction.
• At least 5 years of experience leading mechanical craft trades.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and proof of insurability.
• Ability to work outdoors and in confined spaces, including tanks and vessels, with exposure to uneven terrain, extreme temperatures, noise, odors, and limited visibility.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with USACE or federal contracts.
• Experience with HCSS Heavy Job, P6, Viewpoint, Heavy Bid, or similar software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• OSHA or equivalent safety training.
