Location: Casper, Wyoming, United States; onsite fab shop and industrial environments

What you will do
- Plan, lay out, weld, install, evaluate, and repair steel pipe, structures, and associated systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial oil-refining piping and related structures.
- Interpret contract plans, specifications, welding codes, and industry standards.
- Inspect field conditions, identify inaccuracies and hazards, and implement corrective actions and cost-saving measures.
- Select appropriate filler metals and construction materials for each assignment.
- Supervise and train welder helpers and observe installed equipment for adjustment, relocation, or replacement needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of welding-principles experience.
- Experience in construction, mining, or a related industry, or a two-year vocational-technical degree.
- Working knowledge of welding codes and specifications.
- Familiarity with metal properties, machining, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques.
- Experience with SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
- Ability to work safely in confined spaces, limited-visibility areas, and industrial environments with extreme temperatures, high noise, and intense odors.

- OSHA 10 certification.
- Effective communication, attention to detail, teamwork, motivation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
