Finance Lead (AI Safety)

hirify.global is an AI Safety company building a safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems through natural-language policies that are tested, enforced, and improved at scale.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations across multiple entities, focusing on the US entity and US GAAP accounting.
• Own the monthly financial close and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial reporting.
• Manage relationships with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and other finance providers.
• Build reporting and forecasts covering revenue, expenses, cash, burn, runway, headcount, and overall financial health.
• Develop financial models for hiring, spending, pricing, fundraising, and other strategic decisions.
• Improve finance processes and automate repetitive workflows as the company scales.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with US GAAP accounting is required.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and experience owning financial close and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
• Experience with accounting or finance in a multi-entity or group company setup.
• Application must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• CPA qualification and international accounting experience.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, cash-flow planning, and burn/runway tracking.
• Ability to build lightweight dashboards, internal tools, and financial models from scratch.
• Experience establishing finance and accounting processes from scratch.
