Senior Financial Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based at the headquarters in Lehi, Utah, US

What you will do

• Support planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis for AI usage, compute, storage, and software costs.
• Perform investment analysis and evaluate commercial decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare analyses, recommendations, and presentations for executives and the Board.
• Partner with teams across compute infrastructure, FP&A, strategic finance, engineering, and compute operations.
• Own monthly compute-cost reporting, identify variances, streamline data collection, and analyze AI and storage cost streams.
• Propose strategic optimization projects and lead ad hoc investment analyses for strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a finance operating role at a high-growth technology company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field.
• Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and succeed in unfamiliar operating environments.
• Ability to independently structure ambiguous problems and work through incomplete information.
• Track record of producing high-quality work under ambitious deadlines.
• Effectiveness in multidisciplinary and cross-functional environments.
• Ability to take ownership of projects through completion and communicate results to leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in infrastructure, data centers, compute, cloud, semiconductors, or a related industry.
• Familiarity with data systems, analytical tools, and large datasets.
