Location: Hybrid, based in the Mount Laurel, New Jersey office, with at least 4 days in the office. Up to 10% travel may be required. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Salary: $114,000–$231,000 per year. Additional disclosed ranges include $114,000–$184,000 and $135,000–$231,000, depending on experience, skills, and education.

What you will do
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and established enterprise patterns.
- Integrate automated security controls, including SAST, SCA, container scanning, SBOM generation, and secrets detection.
- Maintain Software Factory tooling, CI/CD infrastructure, artifact repositories, and DevSecOps platforms.
- Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, and deploy containerized workloads with Podman and Kubernetes.
- Operate repeatable software delivery processes in connected and air-gapped classified environments while supporting compliance with NIST 800-171, DISA STIGs, and RMF.
- Collaborate with software, security, and infrastructure engineers on architecture, requirements, integration, testing, customer discussions, and technical progress reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of full-time professional experience in software development processes, with experience across requirements through deployment.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools, Git, Agile development, containerization, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, Python or Bash scripting, APIs, and relational databases.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux file systems, networking protocols, modular code design, and software system analysis.
- Ability to refine customer requirements, review and harden AI-generated code, manage concurrent assignments, and collaborate in cross-site engineering teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, at least 4 days per week, and obtain or maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- DevSecOps or DevOps experience and familiarity with secure software development and automated security testing.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, vCenter, VMware vSphere, virtualization, monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Defense, government, or other mission-critical domain experience, including NIST, DISA STIGs, or RMF.
- Experience using AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and optimization.
- Experience with unit and interface testing frameworks.
