Level 3 Senior Network Engineer (Cisco ACI required)

Location: Hybrid role in Dublin, Ireland, requiring 60% office attendance at the Leopardstown HQ in Dublin 18

What you will do

• Act as the highest technical escalation point for critical network incidents and complex infrastructure issues.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, major incident recovery, and permanent corrective actions across multi-vendor enterprise environments.
• Operate and improve routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, load balancers, VPNs, DNS, and cloud networking.
• Lead network implementation for data center migrations, office deployments, cloud connectivity, technology refreshes, mergers, and global expansion initiatives.
• Design, review, approve, and implement secure network solutions, firewall policies, NAT rules, VPN configurations, and segmentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers while collaborating with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience, including large-scale global network environments.
• Strong Cisco ACI expertise, plus experience with Fortinet firewalls, NetScaler/F5 load balancers, SD-WAN, enterprise routing, switching, and cloud networking.
• Experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical operations and leading major incident resolution and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Azure and AWS networking, network segmentation and micro-segmentation, packet capture, and network performance analysis.
• Ability to automate network tasks using Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, documentation, mentoring, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Cisco Meraki and Cisco ISE experience.
• CATO SD-WAN or SASE experience.
• CCNP Enterprise or CCIE, Fortinet, Citrix NetScaler, CATO, AWS or Azure Networking, or ITIL Foundation certification; any two certifications are advantageous.
