Staff Network Engineer

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable, resilient data centre, campus, WAN, and hybrid cloud network solutions.
• Operate internet edge and SD-WAN integrations while maintaining consistent routing and security standards.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, incident response, and preventive improvements.
• Partner with Data Centre, Storage, Virtualisation, Windows, Unix, Cloud Operations, and Security teams on cross-domain initiatives.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, runbooks, monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and lifecycle processes.
• Communicate risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and delivery status to technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12–15 years of experience in enterprise network architecture, design, deployment, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Cisco certification required; CCNP preferred and CCIE strongly valued.
• Expertise in routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MLAG/vPC, and LACP.
• Strong knowledge of network security, segmentation, ACLs, firewall integrations, secure remote access, and NAC/AAA solutions such as Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass.
• Experience delivering operationally ready solutions and leading change, risk, documentation, and lifecycle management.

Nice to have

• Experience with SD-WAN design and operations, hybrid connectivity, Cisco VPN, F5 Load Balancers, or similar technologies.
• Experience with network automation, observability, telemetry, or scripting.
