Finance & Accounting Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid or remote; company operations are based in Toronto and Etobicoke.

Compensation: $32.00 CAD per hour, payable in common shares of the Corporation at fair market value.

hirify.global is a Toronto-based language synthesis AI company, and NovaForge is its AI-focused accelerator and incubator supporting projects across diverse industries.

What you will do

• Analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Track budget performance, financial projections, KPIs, and other financial metrics.
• Conduct market research on industry trends and competitor benchmarks.
• Support investment evaluations, expansion opportunities, pricing strategy, and financial operations.
• Assist with risk assessments and financial compliance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business/Entrepreneurship program.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Interest in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with financial statements and forecasting methods.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau and Power BI.
