Financial Analyst, General Accounting

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Prepare accurate and timely accounting entries for the general ledger in line with accounting policies and control procedures.
• Manage the complete intercompany billing and settlement cycle.
• Coordinate banking, funding, and reconciliation of bank and suspense accounts.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations and the financial control framework.
• Provide analytical information and responses to internal auditors, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain timely and accurate financial information for internal users.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Current CPA accreditation in good standing or progress toward the CPA designation.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting policies, financial controls, reconciliations, balance sheets, and general ledger processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience with spreadsheets and database management, including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Alteryx, or Tableau.
