Underwriting Support Technician (Insurance)

What you will do

• Enter insurance policy information into in-house systems in line with accuracy and timeliness standards.
• Build knowledge across multiple insurance classes and specialise in one class as a key contact for underwriting teams.
• Manage daily workflows, respond to business queries, and support productivity targets.
• Monitor data accuracy using quality-control reports and dashboards.
• Maintain effective relationships with underwriting teams and attend underwriting meetings when required.
• Support training, process optimisation, automation, and AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Computer literacy and the ability to learn in-house and Microsoft systems.
• Experience in the insurance industry; Energy experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Consistent focus on high-quality customer service and service delivery.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment with changing priorities and provide cover for colleagues.
• Positive approach to change and willingness to participate in future projects.
