TL;DR
Project Manager - Mechanical (Construction): Overseeing large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical and structural construction projects from setup through closeout with an accent on budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance. Focus on leading project teams, managing client and vendor relationships, resolving delivery challenges, and ensuring work meets contractual, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
Location: Dallas, TX / Greenville, TX; onsite construction project work

What you will do
- Manage large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects from setup through closeout.
- Oversee mechanical and structural scopes across data center, power generation, renewable energy, mining, and oil and gas projects.
- Plan and coordinate budgets, schedules, labor, equipment, procurement, and subcontractor resources.
- Recruit, lead, and supervise Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, and other employees.
- Maintain client, vendor, subcontractor, field operations, and leadership relationships.
- Ensure safety, environmental, contractual, quality, cost, and schedule requirements are met.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
- Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
- Ability to travel and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in construction environments with extreme temperatures, high noise levels, intense odors, and limited visibility.
Nice to have
- Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job-costing software.
- Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
- Experience with Viewpoint or similar accounting software.
- Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
- OSHA or equivalent safety training and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
