Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States; onsite role. U.S. citizenship is required because eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is mandatory.

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional team delivering a new manufacturing facility within the Pascagoula COE3 project.
• Coordinate site acceptance tests for three large machine tools, including two 5-axis CNC machines.
• Communicate project goals, milestones, and targets to contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Track project spend, forecasts, milestones, resources, risks, approvals, and business-case benefits.
• Develop technical documentation, control plans, standard work instructions, and process flow diagrams for foundry, machining, and quality operations.
• Create production routings, analyze production data, support root-cause investigations, and contribute to cost reduction and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Engineering or Manufacturing plus 5+ years of project management or process engineering experience in manufacturing; or bachelor's degree plus 3+ years; or 9+ years of relevant manufacturing project management experience in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. citizenship required for DoD security-clearance eligibility.
• Experience managing projects or engineering processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to prioritize health, safety, and environmental standards across site activities.
• Basic computer application skills and proficiency with scheduling software.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or comparable project management experience.
• Education or experience in metal casting, machining, or large-scale manufacturing.
