Software Delivery Lead (Embedded Software)

What you will do

• Own planning and delivery orchestration for assigned software programs and one or more parallel projects.
• Define and enforce readiness criteria before execution begins, track milestones and commitments, and improve delivery predictability.
• Surface delivery risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and milestone-confidence issues early.
• Coordinate dependencies across software, hardware, systems, quality, regulatory, and operations teams, removing blockers or escalating them when necessary.
• Assess the impact of scope changes on schedule, capacity, cost, dependencies, and risk.
• Provide delivery-level resource and budget visibility, dashboards, and leadership-ready status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related experience; alternative education and experience combinations may apply.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English communication skills, including reading, writing, understanding, and speaking.
• Experience managing delivery in environments combining iterative and milestone-driven work.
• Ability to influence without authority, facilitate decisions, and coordinate across stakeholder groups.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and experience working with technical teams.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• 8+ years in software delivery, technical program management, or delivery leadership.
• Experience delivering embedded or regulated software with hardware–software dependencies.
• PMP, SAFe, or equivalent delivery or program certification.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, or Planner.
