Manufacturing Specialist II (HDD Manufacturing)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore (W1); onsite factory role. No travel required. The role requires 12-hour day or night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, following a 3-2-2-3 work pattern.

What you will do

• Lead production activities, including equipment setup and maintenance, fabrication, testing, machine and tool making, and production training.
• Manage manpower deployment and operate automatic or semi-automatic production machines.
• Perform complex electrical tasks during assembly and support labelling, packing, palletizing, and equipment handling.
• Conduct on-the-job training and act as a line trainer to ensure adherence to work instructions and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
• Track, report, and escalate key operational metrics.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a senior operator, trainer, line leader, or cell lead; proven ability to lead and coordinate a small production team.
• Good English understanding is required for reading and following work instructions.
• Strong communication, coordination, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to carry work items up to 3 kg and stand or walk for 4 to 7 hours.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in backend manufacturing.
