Manufacturing Specialist III (Drive Operations)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore. Onsite role with 12-hour day or night shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Travel: None.

hirify.global Manufacturing SG Pte. Ltd. supports backend assembly and high-volume manufacturing operations for hard disk drive products as part of hirify.global’s global manufacturing network.

What you will do

• Lead production processes including equipment setup and maintenance, fabrication, testing, production training, and machine or tool making.
• Manage manpower deployment and operate automatic and semi-automatic production machines.
• Perform complex electrical tasks during product assembly.
• Train new and existing operators, act as a line trainer, and ensure compliance with Work Instructions and quality standards.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to resolve production issues and support continuous improvement.
• Track and escalate operational metrics while supporting labelling, packing, palletizing, and equipment or parts handling.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a senior operator, trainer, line leader, or cell lead.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a small production team.
• Good understanding of English is required for reading and understanding Work Instructions.
• Ability to work a 3-2-2-3 pattern with 12-hour shifts: 7:30am–7:45pm or 7:30pm–7:45am, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for 4–7 hours, carry work items up to 3 kg, and perform assigned manual handling duties. Packing and unpacking roles may require handling 5–15 kg.
