Location: Onsite at the Woodlands manufacturing site in Singapore. The role starts on a normal weekday shift and may transition to a 12-hour schedule, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs. No travel is required.

What you will do

• Assemble, align, and integrate mechanical and electrical subsystems for sputtering equipment using schematics and build instructions.
• Install vacuum chambers, pumps, valves, control panels, and related equipment components.
• Perform functional and quality checks during and after installation.
• Troubleshoot and rework basic mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Support equipment installations, conversions, upgrades, and reliability improvements with engineering teams.
• Lead junior Engineering Specialists to complete tasks safely and on schedule.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment assembly, installation, or mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with torque wrenches, multimeters, and vacuum gauges.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom and structured manufacturing environment, including a possible 12-hour shift with nights and weekends.
• Strong teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

• Familiarity with sputter PVD equipment.
