Financial Planning & Analysis Associate - Masters-Level Internship

Location: Remote, with hybrid options in Toronto

Compensation: $32 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Analyze financial performance metrics and conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Evaluate business cases, cost-saving opportunities, and investment initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders, senior leadership, and board meetings.
• Support the development of long-term financial plans aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
