Principal Product Manager - Customer Experience and AI

Location: Canada; remote

Salary: $148,782–$185,977 USD per year, with potential additional bonus or target-based compensation.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and execution of growth initiatives focused on customer outcomes, retention, and business performance.
• Use customer research, behavioral data, and experimentation to define product value and improve customer experiences.
• Lead engineers and designers toward research-backed, actionable, and ROI-focused product outcomes through influence rather than formal authority.
• Define product hypotheses and apply AI-enabled tools to test ideas and accelerate the product development lifecycle.
• Navigate ambiguous problem spaces, align stakeholders across product squads, and clarify requirements.
• Mentor product managers and strengthen product discovery, strategy, decision-making, and execution standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including substantial experience building and scaling SaaS products.
• Track record of improving growth and retention metrics and translating customer needs into measurable product outcomes.
• Strong product strategy and vision-setting skills, including communication with senior and executive stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams as a high-impact individual contributor through influence.
• Active experience applying AI tools to product discovery, experimentation, decision-making, or product development.
• Strong customer empathy, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, mentoring, and coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the SMB space, early-stage startups, internal startup environments, or subscription products.
• Experience mentoring senior product managers or establishing organizational product standards.
