IT Project Manager (m/f/x)

Location: Munich, Germany. International relocation support is provided if required, with an opportunity to work from abroad.

What you will do

• Lead IT projects from initial concept and scoping through deployment and post-launch review.
• Create project plans covering timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate software developers, system architects, QA testers, and financial analysts.
• Track progress, identify risks, and resolve delivery roadblocks.
• Report project status, milestones, and deliverables to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure IT initiatives comply with banking regulations, data privacy laws, and internal security protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of project management experience in banking, financial services, or fintech.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster, or a comparable project management certification.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and IT infrastructure deployments.
• Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
• Leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and project management software skills, including Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
