Video Editor (Post-Production)

What you will do

• Edit daily podcasts, shows, host original content, and long- and short-form promotional videos.
• Transform raw footage into polished content through creative editing and effective storytelling.
• Create assembly edits, string-outs, and final finishing edits across digital video formats.
• Review projects with the Director of Post-Production and implement creative feedback.
• Develop project templates and manage media conversion, transcoding, compression, archiving, and project logs.
• Deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget while communicating with production colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional video editing experience, including assembly and editorial work.
• Working knowledge of video production and post-production workflows.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of digital media formats, codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates.
• Strong visual sensibility, storytelling, organization, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; the position is onsite in Nashville.

Nice to have

• Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, audio mixing, and color correction.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and the ability to learn new tools and processes.
