Associate Manager, Training

Salary: $89,800–$123,500 annual base salary

What you will do

• Assess training needs across departments and implement the Supply Chain Training strategy at the manufacturing site.
• Own onboarding and new-hire orientation programs for hourly and salaried employees.
• Design and deliver technical, safety, compliance, leadership, and other workforce development programs.
• Create training materials and facilitate learning in classroom, production, and virtual environments.
• Administer Alchemy, Redzone, and other learning systems while maintaining training records, qualifications, certifications, dashboards, and compliance reports.
• Coach hourly Training Technicians, manage the site training budget, and support succession planning, career pathing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and training technologies, including Alchemy and Redzone; familiarity with training, safety, quality, and food-manufacturing regulations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in education, training and development, human resources, business administration, organizational development, or a related field.
• Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
• Supervisory experience managing trainers, training coordinators, or Training Technicians.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, OSHA regulations, and manufacturing compliance standards.
• Experience with organizational change, leadership development, workforce capability initiatives, or succession planning.
