Engineer II - AI Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain LLM gateways, retrieval-augmented generation platforms, AI applications, APIs, and automation scripts.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and data sources.
• Implement security, compliance, governance, logging, monitoring, and reporting controls for AI systems.
• Deploy AI applications through CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Own end-to-end delivery of moderate features and short projects while collaborating with senior engineers and product stakeholders.
• Mentor or review the work of Analyst and Engineer I-level colleagues and contribute to Scrum-based delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering.
• Experience with AI infrastructure or AI application development, including backend applications and REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel, or with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript, or another modern programming language.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
