Engineer II - Software Development (Python / AI)

What you will do

• Build Python services, APIs, and data pipelines for semiconductor manufacturing data.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models and LLM-based solutions that automate analysis and surface actionable insights.
• Design and maintain databases, messaging systems, data infrastructure, and web platforms.
• Collaborate with test, yield, and process engineers to turn manufacturing challenges into practical software solutions.
• Identify automation opportunities using an AI/ML-first approach.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python development experience building applications, pipelines, or tooling.
• Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures and complex relational database queries.
• Working familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience with an ML framework, LLM APIs, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM solutions, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks.
• Production AI/ML model development, evaluation, and deployment experience.
• Docker, container orchestration, event-driven architectures, Redis, or Kafka.
• Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, test-driven development, or Linux/Unix.
• Semiconductor fabrication or testing experience, frontend technologies, or additional programming languages.
