TL;DR
Manager, Software Engineering (AI): Leading the Intelligence Center engineering team in developing and operating intelligence-focused products, including AI/ML models, pipelines, platform capabilities, and customer-facing applications with an accent on people leadership, technical direction, and cross-functional execution. Focus on active coding in Python, Django, React, Next.js, and Node, integrating cloud services and third-party systems, and driving AI adoption across the product and development lifecycle.
Location: Remote, based in Mexico; permanent residency in Mexico required. Legal authorization to work in Mexico now and in the future is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Lead the Intelligence Center engineering team and oversee the design, development, deployment, and operation of intelligence-focused products.
- Guide AI/ML models, pipelines, and platform capabilities powering customer-facing products.
- Manage engineers’ professional development and technical direction.
- Collaborate with product management, customer support, operational teams, and other engineering groups.
- Contribute hands-on coding and technical problem-solving using Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, and other web technologies.
- Drive adoption of AI tools across the product and software development lifecycle while working in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing an engineering team.
- 5+ years of experience building scalable applications with modern frameworks such as React, Django, and Node.
- Experience with third-party integrations, API integrations, and Amazon AWS.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Proficiency using AI tools for product development.
- Strong written and spoken English is required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- Python and AWS experience.
