Location: Remote from Poland, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, or Austria

What you will do
- Lead, grow, and support a team of experienced engineers building applications, tools, and infrastructure for security products.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, stakeholders, and domain experts on fraud and automation detection and mitigation solutions.
- Mentor engineers and guide technical decision-making, skill development, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code and architecture design, feature development, peer reviews, and quality improvement.
- Design scalable solutions and monitoring tools for systems handling very high request volumes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of leading or managing engineering teams.
- Extensive experience with TypeScript or Python; familiarity with Rust, Go, or C++.
- Understanding of distributed systems and large-scale operations, ideally involving applications handling millions of requests per second.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing, highly engaged engineering teams, preferably in geographically distributed organizations.
Nice to have
- Experience with edge workers such as Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Edge Compute, or Akamai Serverless Compute.
- Production experience with Rust or Go.
