Backend or Fullstack Developer (AI)

Location: New York City, hybrid; four days onsite, or three days onsite for employees located more than one hour away.

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Integrate modern LLMs into real-world healthcare applications in partnership with Product.
• Design and build systems end to end, including data pipelines and user interfaces.
• Develop and scale the core systems powering the medical review platform.
• Deliver high-quality features through close collaboration, adaptability, and strong execution.
• Contribute to technical decisions and help shape the engineering team as the company grows.

Requirements

• 0–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action when addressing ambiguous challenges.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, including ownership of end-to-end data workflows.
• Experience with AWS deployments and modern LLMs.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with React or Next.js.
• Experience in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
