Senior Fullstack Engineer (AWS)

Location: Fully remote for candidates residing in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WI

Salary: $136,000–$185,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead architecture and technical strategy for data warehouses and business data flows.
• Design end-to-end data transformations and optimize warehouse structures for reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain scalable AWS cloud applications, data platforms, user interfaces, and reporting solutions.
• Assess database and system designs, reduce technical debt, and improve performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and technical guidance.
• Oversee QA, access controls, backups, disaster recovery, storage, capacity planning, security, and production incident resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering is preferred.
• 7+ years of front-end, back-end, data warehousing, SQL, and relational database engineering experience, with progression into a senior or technical lead capacity.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS, including Redshift, PostgreSQL, Python, cloud scalability, and resilience.
• Experience with architecture decisions, agile methodologies, source-code management, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
• Experience with Tableau, Qlik, or QuickSight, ETL tools such as Glue or Alteryx, and front-end technologies including React, Vue, Node, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work authorization sponsorship is unavailable; candidates must reside in one of the listed US states.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring engineers or leading small technical initiatives.
• Knowledge of additional website and application technologies including C++, C#, jQuery, Docker, CloudFormation, YAML, and AWS Amplify.
