Founding Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, USA, five days a week

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 USD annually, plus equity.

hirify.global is an early-stage construction technology startup using AI to automate blueprint analysis, material takeoffs, and cost estimation.

What you will do

• Build intuitive, polished UIs that present computer vision model outputs to end users.
• Develop complex geometry rendering, streaming systems, and sophisticated user interactions.
• Rapidly ship prototypes and iterate based on real user feedback.
• Help shape the product and engineering culture as a core member of the founding team.

Requirements

• Proven experience taking products from 0 to 1, ideally with traction or paying customers.
• Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript, plus solid full-stack capabilities.
• Proficiency in Python and comfort with open-ended, math-oriented problem solving.
• Strong computer science fundamentals; an exceptional project portfolio can replace a formal degree.
• Experience as a founding engineer or early startup employee.
• US citizenship and ability to work on-site in San Francisco are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
• Background in construction, real estate, or PDF and document workflows.
• Prior founder experience or an impact-driven mindset.
• Exceptional recent graduates with strong learning ability and motivation are encouraged to apply.
