Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; on-site

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Select systems and perform calculations for mechanical design.
• Conduct field work to document existing building conditions.
• Develop drawings with building modeling software alongside junior engineers.
• Create concepts, strategies, designs, specifications, and reports for building and renovation projects.
• Provide construction-phase services, including submittal reviews and site visits to monitor project progress.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience at an architecture and engineering consulting firm is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Well-rounded experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Experience with Revit or AutoCAD is preferred.
• Field experience is preferred; a New York State Professional Engineer’s license is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
