SAF/CNB Division Lead

Location: Washington, Virginia, United States. Workplace: On-site, with hybrid work in the National Capital Region and reporting to the Pentagon or other Government facilities as mission needs require.

What you will do

• Lead contractor execution across all SAF/CNB work and serve as the primary interface for SAF/CNB leadership and the Contractor Program Manager.
• Translate priorities into coordinated work plans, assignments, decision products, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate architecture, investment, cybersecurity, cloud, data, and AI activities across mission areas, program managers, acquisition organizations, and PPBE stakeholders.
• Set priorities, monitor workload and deadlines, resolve dependencies, mentor personnel, and escalate delivery or mission risks.
• Perform substantive technical work in at least one CNB mission area, such as portfolio governance, enterprise architecture, IT asset management, PPBE, data modeling, or cloud and AI integration.
• Review executive briefings, roadmaps, architecture and portfolio reviews, models, metrics, and recommendations for quality and readiness for Government decision-making.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, professional training, and directly relevant experience.
• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in business mission governance, enterprise or business architecture, IT portfolio or asset management, PPBE, data architecture/modeling, cloud/AI integration, or a related field.
• Experience advising senior leaders and leading cross-functional technical or analytical teams in a complex Federal, DoD, or DAF environment.
• Expertise in at least one CNB technical function and broad working knowledge of BMA governance and modernization.
• Ability to work in a hybrid NCR environment and report to Government facilities as mission needs require.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting SAF/CNB, Headquarters Air Force, a Service CIO, or a comparable Federal enterprise architecture or IT portfolio office.
• ITIL Foundation, cloud architect, or enterprise architecture credentials.
• Experience across two or more CNB mission areas.
• Experience with DAF Architecture Repository, DARS, AFWAY, PPBE, DESMF, BMA cloud modernization, enterprise data governance, or AI-enabled business-process improvement.
