Director of DIY & Community Fundraising

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, or remote within the United States; travel up to 20–25%, including nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Develop and execute long-term growth strategies for DIY, youth, and community fundraising programs.
• Lead national and regional program implementation, annual planning, budgets, investments, and revenue targets.
• Evaluate participant data, market trends, financial results, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Align Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, Finance, Territory Operations, and field leadership around integrated fundraising strategies.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while promoting accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with volunteers, community leaders, third-party organizations, and strategic partners.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with nonprofit fundraising, including peer-to-peer, community engagement, or volunteer-led growth strategies.
• Strong understanding of participant engagement, volunteer management, community-based fundraising, and special events.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate program performance, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
• Experience collaborating across marketing, technology, analytics, finance, and operations, including budgeting and internal communications.
• Experience leading teams, coaching employees, communicating complex strategies, and using data processing and reporting applications.
