Salary: $90,000-$104,000 (depending on experience).

What you will do
- Lead strategic vision for Development Operations Department, aligning with organizational goals.
- Oversee grant management including writing, proposals, reporting, and compliance audits.
- Optimize development operations: process donations, track data in Salesforce, donor reporting, acknowledgments.
- Execute external funder communications: email campaigns, LinkedIn, events, webinars, annual reports.
- Support fundraising, funder relationships, and donor stewardship.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to department team (Grants Manager, Development & Communications Manager).
- Collaborate with program and finance teams on budgets and objectives; update leadership on performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years in director-level role overseeing development team/operations for medium-sized+ nonprofit.
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce, especially Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
- Strong understanding of nonprofit financial compliance and IRS regulations.
- Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, self-starter able to meet deadlines.
- People management skills for training small team and contractors.
- Solutions-oriented problem-solving and cross-department collaboration.
- Commitment to social change, civic engagement with BIPOC/low-income communities; anti-racist practices.
