SAF/CNS Division Lead

Location: Washington, Virginia, United States; on-site with hybrid NCR work and reporting to the Pentagon or other Government facilities as mission needs require

What you will do

• Lead and integrate contractor execution across all SAF/CNS work and serve as the primary interface to SAF/CNS leadership and the Contractor Program Manager.
• Translate DAF CIO priorities into coordinated work plans, assignments, decision products, and measurable outcomes.
• Brief senior DAF leaders on enterprise IT objectives, policy decisions, modernization progress, investment tradeoffs, and emerging risks.
• Coordinate enterprise IT activities across Air Force, DoD, Joint, MAJCOM, program office, and acquisition stakeholders.
• Set priorities, monitor workload and deadlines, resolve dependencies, mentor personnel, and escalate mission risks.
• Review and approve policies, executive briefings, architectures, modernization analyses, service-management products, and technology recommendations.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to maintain the clearance and required access throughout performance.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, professional training, and directly relevant experience.
• At least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT, IT policy, architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, service management, digital modernization, or technology acquisition.
• Experience advising senior leaders and leading cross-functional technical teams in a complex Federal, DoD, or DAF environment.
• Subject matter expertise in at least one CNS mission area, such as enterprise IT policy, architecture, cloud integration, ICAM and Zero Trust, service design, ESMA governance, or technology integration.
• Ability to work in a hybrid NCR environment and report to the Pentagon or other Government facilities as required.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification.
• Experience supporting SAF/CN, Headquarters Air Force, a Service CIO, or a DoD CIO organization.
• Relevant credentials such as CCNP, AWS or Azure architect certification, CISSP, or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience across two or more CNS mission areas and a graduate degree in a related discipline.
