Data Center Manager

Location: Onsite in Denver, Colorado, United States. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, with participation in a 24x7 coverage rotation and on-call support as needed.

Salary: $110,930 per year.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day onsite data center technician activities across one or more facilities.
• Monitor electrical, mechanical, security, and other infrastructure through the BMS, escalating and troubleshooting issues as required.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance programs and coordinate contractors working on facility systems.
• Oversee infrastructure construction projects, customer move-ins, facility cleanliness, safety, and healthy working conditions.
• Manage 24x7x365 schedules, on-call coverage, emergency response training, video surveillance monitoring, purchasing, and consumables.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and support customer operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of data center experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with facility operations, infrastructure events, break-fix issues, shipping and receiving, and facility walkthroughs.
• Strong verbal and written communication, supervisory, people management, and training skills.
• Ability to work onsite, participate in any shift within a 24x7 coverage rotation, and work occasionally outdoors or in equipment enclosures.
• Ability to train data center technicians on BMS, NetSuite purchase orders, daily walkthrough documentation, and emergency response procedures.
