Software Architect (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, with 25% in-office attendance in Boston, MA; Orlando, FL; or Milwaukee, WI

Salary: $123,700–$210,800 per year, plus potential bonuses, incentive plans, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build consensus around architectural designs that support stable, secure, and scalable product delivery.
• Develop and validate early prototypes for technical design, security, scalability, and performance.
• Evaluate, select, recommend, and configure technologies with product, application, architecture, and partner teams.
• Lead solution architecture design and present architecture options to product owners and architecture leadership.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate software architecture into detailed designs and uphold engineering standards.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on development and application design experience delivering software products.
• At least 5 years of experience in an architect role on large-scale software development projects, preferably using a SaaS delivery model.
• Strong experience designing container-based deployments and working knowledge of Azure or AWS.
• Extensive knowledge of APIs, UIs, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to design complex distributed solutions with an end-to-end, big-picture perspective.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, preferred.
