Principal Cloud Architect (Healthcare Cloud)

Location: Remote within the United States; Rochester, Minnesota is listed as the role location. Monday–Friday schedule; 10%+ travel may be required.

Salary: $155,500–$225,400 per year.

What you will do

• Own the observability and support strategy and roadmap for hirify.global Platform systems.
• Design, maintain, and improve architecture for monitoring system health and operational maturity.
• Establish automation patterns for vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Define and champion standards for CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and reliability engineering.
• Support the technical roadmap, adoption of new tools, processes, and standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with developers, Product Managers, Infosec, Compliance, and vendors while mentoring technical team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant information technology field, or 10 years of increasingly complex full-stack engineering experience, or 5 years in a principal engineer capacity.
• 3–5 years of project management, system architecture, and design experience.
• 3–5 years working in diverse Agile software development environments.
• Principal-level experience with hyperscale cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud; AWS or Azure experience is considered.
• Principal-level DevOps and CI/CD experience, plus enterprise cloud architecture, deployment, and management experience.
• Experience with enterprise information security systems and clinical systems; healthcare security knowledge such as HIPAA and HITRUST is strongly desired. Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available, and the position is not eligible for the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Nice to have

• Experience with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.
• Experience delivering and integrating solutions in a healthcare setting.
