Software Test Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Create and run basic automated test scripts.
• Develop, execute, and document test cases and results.
• Collaborate with developers to understand software requirements.
• Report defects in the tracking system and maintain test scripts.
• Support test planning, review sessions, test data setup, and test environment maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes.

Requirements

• Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python.
• Ability to create simple test cases from specifications.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit.
• Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Ability to document test cases and defects clearly and collaborate in a team.
• Technical knowledge gained through coursework or an internship, with willingness to learn new testing techniques and tools.
