ServiceNow Project Manager (ServiceNow)

What you will do

• Lead ServiceNow modernization projects for the DAAS Portal workstream across planning, development, testing, deployment, transition, and operational support.
• Manage schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, resources, deliverables, and project documentation.
• Coordinate developers, business analysts, testers, architects, security personnel, accessibility specialists, government stakeholders, and platform administrators.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain requirements, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
• Coordinate functional, integration, security, Section 508, and user acceptance testing, as well as change requests and production releases.
• Support stakeholder communications, organizational change management, training, user adoption, governance, and contractual reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, engineering, project management, or a related field.
• At least five years managing IT or software-development projects and at least three years supporting or managing ServiceNow implementations, modernization, or enhancement projects.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid Agile delivery; software-development lifecycle activities; project schedules; risks; budgets; resources; deliverables; UAT; and production releases.
• PMP certification and a Scrum or Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe.
• ServiceNow CSA or another ServiceNow certification, plus knowledge of platform governance, workflows, integrations, update sets, application scopes, and release processes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, hold an active security clearance, and have an active CAC or be able to obtain one. Federal or DoD experience, cybersecurity and RMF/ATO knowledge, and Section 508 testing experience are required or strongly relevant.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DLA, the Department of Defense, or another federal government agency.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow Agile Development, or similar work-management tools.
