Project Manager / PMO Lead - Hybrid

Location: Hybrid position based in the Washington, DC Metro area, with occasional onsite client work required. The job must be performed in the United States; foreign access and personal VPN connections are prohibited.

Salary: $118,807.00–$201,971.00 annually.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day task order execution, including schedule management, staffing coordination, risk and issue tracking, and deliverable oversight.
• Maintain visibility into progress, dependencies, commitments, and resource utilization across multiple technical workstreams.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, data, cybersecurity, and service operations leads to align delivery with contractual requirements and client priorities.
• Prepare governance materials, dashboards, portfolio reviews, monthly status reviews, and quarterly program management reviews.
• Manage risk, issue, action item, and decision logs, including escalation and follow-through.
• Support IV&V coordination, transition planning, onboarding, staffing readiness, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of program or project management experience supporting federal technology, digital services, data, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT programs.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. work authorization, U.S. residence, and work performed in the United States are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal research, science, innovation, or health-focused agency environments.
• Experience with cloud modernization, SaaS, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, data, or AI-enabled capabilities.
• Familiarity with RMF, ATO, FISMA, NIST 800-53, or continuous monitoring requirements.
• Experience with data-driven program management, dashboards, IV&V teams, security assessors, or external oversight stakeholders.
• Agile, SAFe, Scrum, FAC-P/PM, cloud, security, or data certifications.
