What you will do
- Lead full cybersecurity and IT project lifecycles using Agile, Waterfall, and iterative methodologies.
- Coordinate project charters, solution design documents, technical documentation, UAT approvals, readiness checklists, and deployment plans.
- Manage project budgets, CapEx and O&M forecasts, variance explanations, accruals, and cost-to-completion reporting.
- Coordinate vendors, Statements of Work, third-party milestones, resources, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies.
- Develop change management artifacts, stakeholder assessments, and user adoption strategies.
- Communicate security project status and complex technical concepts to executive sponsors and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical project management experience.
- At least 3 years of experience leading complex IT and cybersecurity projects involving labor and non-labor costs.
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices across Waterfall, Agile, and SDLC methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, project financials, cost-to-completion metrics, and resource capacity planning.
- Strong leadership, indirect team coaching, business process analysis, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- PMP certification.
- Professional Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Product Owner certification.
- Familiarity with ITIL v3 or v4.
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance tools, policy management, risk assessments, or exception tracking.
