Preclinical Technologist I

What you will do

• Perform basic preclinical pharmacology procedures according to study requirements, protocols, SOPs, policies, and regulatory procedures.
• Support preclinical studies for external customers in oncology, neurobiology, and autoimmune diseases.
• Enter accurate data into laboratory IT systems and databases and maintain study documentation.
• Complete training to perform procedures proficiently and participate in developing new procedures.
• Maintain laboratory spaces through sanitation, organization, restocking, and equipment-status monitoring.

Requirements

• BS degree in an applicable laboratory or animal-care field, or a high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant laboratory or animal-care experience.
• Experience or ability to work in preclinical environments, especially with animal handling.
• Strong verbal and written communication, listening, writing, problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs, policies, and regulatory procedures.
• Ability to work flexible evening, weekend, holiday, and overtime shifts.
