Research Associate III (Biotechnology)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; on-site laboratory role

Salary: $26.61–$34.62 per hour

What you will do

• Support cell-based and biochemical assay development and execution.
• Perform high-throughput screening assays in biochemical and cell-based formats for SAR screening.
• Run assays in 96- and 384-well plate formats.
• Apply molecular biology and cell biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture.
• Handle compounds and communicate with internal colleagues and external clients.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or molecular biology.
• Three or more years of work experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of complex scientific procedures and technical proficiency in molecular and cell biology.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and compound handling techniques.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work on-site in office and laboratory environments with exposure to animals, biohazards, chemicals, variable temperatures, and noise; ability to wear PPE and perform physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
