Application Support Engineer (Alcon Vision Suite)

What you will do

• Collaborate with the team to resolve incidents, issues, and service requests.
• Evaluate and test products to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability issues.
• Develop and implement solutions that improve product functionality and reliability.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, including sales and customer success.
• Translate customer needs into actionable product requirements with the product development team.
• Create technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with hardware and application support.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems, as well as LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SDN networks.
• Experience building and deploying applications.
• Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL practices.
• English at B2 level or higher is required for daily work with global teams.

Nice to have

• At least one year of software development experience.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools.
• Programming experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect or Developer certification.
