IT Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Remote - EMEA; availability to cover Mountain or Pacific time zones and participate in on-call rotations and after-hours responses is required.

What you will do

• Act as the primary contact for IT helpdesk requests and diagnose technical issues for staff.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities with HR and Security.
• Set up, deploy, ship, and receive laptops, devices, software, and other hardware.
• Manage MDM systems, including BYOD, and maintain the inventory of IT assets.
• Secure endpoint devices, support change management and procurement, and train staff on IT topics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
• Deep expertise in Linux, macOS, and Windows system administration, including device management, patching, and operational support.
• Experience with automation workflows, SSO configurations, scalable onboarding, enterprise SaaS platforms, and cloud-centric environments.
• Experience with cybersecurity capabilities and traditional on-premises LAN/WAN environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; fluent English is required.
• Ability to cover Mountain or Pacific time zones and participate in on-call and after-hours support.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• IT or security certifications.
• Knowledge of financial and privacy regulations or experience in financial services.
• Business acumen for balancing stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, and budget constraints.
