Field Application Engineer (Embedded)

What you will do

• Partner with Sales throughout the customer journey to provide technical expertise and support regional revenue goals.
• Lead technical discovery of customers' embedded environments, workflows, toolchains, and challenges.
• Support evaluations through environment validation, issue reproduction, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
• Assist with customer onboarding, adoption, training, and post-sales technical support.
• Build long-term technical relationships with customers, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Share customer insights with product teams and create technical materials.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in the embedded industry, ideally as a Field Application Engineer or Application Developer.
• Strong knowledge of C and/or C++.
• Practical understanding of embedded builds, debugging, and source control.
• Strong English communication skills are required, including communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused, proactive, independent, and capable of building strong relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, headless builds, scripting, Bash, PowerShell, CMake, or Make.
• Experience with IDEs, debuggers, RTOS, and Arm or RISC-V microcontroller toolchains.
• Exposure to functional safety, training, health checks, or customer adoption activities.
