What you will do

• Develop embedded software for innovative medical device projects.
• Collaborate with customers to interpret needs and translate them into manufacturable designs.
• Coach and mentor less experienced engineers within the team.
• Work closely with hardware and software colleagues to ensure system-level integration.
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept to market.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the office in Lund, Sweden
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for medical devices.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience with device driver development.
• Solid understanding of IEC 62304 standards.
• Great communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto, or QNX.
• Knowledge of connectivity standards like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or LTE.
• Familiarity with security protocols (TLS/SSL, keys, certificates).
• Experience with configuration management and CI/CD tools like Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
• Background in hardware bring-up and use of measuring instruments like oscilloscopes.
